This treadmill can do speeds between 0.8km/h up to 16km/h. 0.8km/h is 0.49 miles per hour which gives you an easy start on the treadmill. 16Km/h is 9.94 miles per hour which will give you a great workout if you can keep this speed. Even if you can’t it will deliver a great workout for your level of fitness.
Does the treadmill have an Incline Feature?
The life fitness f1 treadmill comes with an automatic incline which makes you workout better because you can increase the difficult of a run with out increasing the speed. The gradient of the incline starts at 0% and goes up to 12%. This is more than enough to simulate hill runs or just add a little bit more resistance to your workouts.
Does it have a built in heart rate Monitor?
The treadmill has a built in heart rate monitor that you can place your handles on the sensors to get intermittent heart rate readings or you can use a chest strap so that it can track your heart rate throughout your workout.

The life fitness folding treadmill folds vertically so that it gives you the most space it can when you are not using your treadmill. This is great for those of us that don’t have a lot of room and have to double up the dining room as our treadmill space.

The running deck made if 1 inch medium density fibreboard and is 51cm wide by 140cm long. This is of a good size so that you have plenty of room to get into your running stride.
Is there a Warranty?
The life fitness treadmill comes with a home use warranty. This means that you are only covered if you using the treadmill in your home. It is not intended for commercial gyms. With the warranty you get lifetime cover on the motor, the frame, and the magnetic breaking. You also get 3 years cover on parts and labour.
Who it is for?
This treadmill has the intermediate in mind. It can take you from beginner to intermediate if you wish to do so. But with its functions and features it is for your intermediate runner.
What is the Dimensions?
The dimensions of the treadmill when in use are 196cm long by 86cm wide by 150cm high. When you are not using the treadmill and have it folded up the dimensions are 89cm long by 86cm wide by 190.5cm high. This is great if you don’t have much room as you save over a meter in length when you are not using the treadmill.

What are the Cons?

This is a great treadmill for your beginners and intermediate runners. With all its features and functions it will give you a great workout with out pounding your joints as much as the other treadmills. However if you are more of an advance runner then you will want to be look at a bigger machine in length and power of the motor.
